More Than I Expected! : Canwood Whistler Junior Loft Bed - White

We decided to purchase two Canwood Whistler Junior Loft Bed in White for our twin boys after reading numerous good reviews on this site and few other sites. Amazon shipped them instantly and we received both the items in good condition in less than a week.

This is where our bad dream started. We opened the first box to install the bed and, mid-way straight through the installation, realized that few pieces had missing holes. No big deal since we had the other box - we decided to take the parts from that box, desist this install and call the builder to send us over those parts with wrong holes. The builder was also wrong in their description of the item saying that the ladder can be installed on whether side - the ladder can only be installed on one side unless you are able to make exact holes yourself for the installation. After taking the parts from the other box, we were able to victorious desist the installation.

We called the builder for those bad pieces and it took them more than 2 weeks to send us those parts. We then carried all the pieces upstairs to install the second bed and guess what - we found out that there are more wrong pieces!!!!! They sent 4 legs of the same kind(Ds) instead of 4 legs of two dissimilar kinds(D and Es). We are so frustrated with this experience. There is no way for us to find out what parts are wrong and what parts are missing without going straight through and checking each and every piece now. And once we find out what parts are missing, the builder will probably take more than 2 weeks to send those parts to us!

Anyone with young ones at home will understand how significant time is with them. This purchase wasted so much of our time, that we feel it was not worth it to purchase it.

The one bed we were able to install looks nice and sturdy though.
